When you ask people what songs they think is Teeklef’s best music , most people especially the ladies scream, APART !! without even thinking about it. Don’t get me wrong , Teeklef is an amazing act and most of his songs like “ Slow Down ” and Day 1 have either made it to my playlist or been on repeat on other streaming platforms. Having said that , i believe Teeklef is looking to replicate the successes of APART with his new single  “ CALLING ”. He is one of the most versatile artiste i have come across.

“ Calling ” is the first single from Teeklef’s Afro-pop EP. It is a heavy Afro-pop song and the vibe is really fresh . More interestingly, he’ll be following it up with a World Tour in the spring showcasing his music and the music of various other African artists living in America and abroad.

Let’s hear what you think about this one. For me, i feel it is has a lot of potential already

Congratulations to Lauretta and Jynnie flow on the release of their E.P today . These two talented  acts have been locked up in the studio for several months in a bid to give you a unique musical experience . Their E.P , Rhythm of the Wave is scheduled to drop later today and i can’t wait to get my hands on it. Although her collaborator  Jynnie flow is appearing on the blog for the first time, Lauretta, A.K.A Yemoja has been featured on this blog previously, and their is no question about how gifted she is ; her flows are un-matched .

Gimme is the first single off the E.P. Listening to it makes me even more impatient because these two acts seem to be able to create hits effortlessly together. I am eager to listen the rest of it . Gimme  , reminds me of Drake’s monster single ” One dance ” – Only that Gimme takes more of a rap & reggae direction . This E.P has the potential to pave the way for these two hard working artistes .

Happy New year to everyone ! I am happy that the first official release of 2019 on the blog is a song with a very positive message . In my opinion, it is the perfect song to start off 2019 with. The title says it all , “ Motiwaloke ” is a Yoruba sentence meaning, I am at the top now  .

Afro-Rolls is an Afro-beat songwriter and singer from Indianapolis, USA. He started recording music at the age of 14 . He soon became a sound Engineer, popularly know as drumsticks, and has been singing in church bands over the years. It did not take long for him to discover his music which is driven by the power of his soulful voice.

Born in Lagos Nigeria Afro-Rolls relocated to The United States to share the beauty of Afro-beat to the world.  In 2018 he signed a management Deal with Micdroprecords also a Nap-town based management company. Mowaloke is the first official single off his 10 track E.P titled Good vibes . The E.P is expected to hit the market soon.

Covers are a great way for Artiste to generate some buzz. This is exactly what Ma’ Cherie has been generating in the last few months . I am one of those people that listen to music not just for it’s value today but also what it may become in future. Speaking of the future, I can confidently say Papyfire is laying his bed for the future.

“ Don’t speed ”  is off his E.P – I am Music and it’s one of my favorite songs at the moment. I can’t listen to this Jam alone , it would be inconsiderate and i would be considered greedy if i did so.  I urge you to Join in, plug your head sets and legooo !!

Super talented  singer Oxlade has been putting out massive singles and collaborations for a while now. He just recently dropped a new Single “ Shugar  ” , an impressive Afro pop Jam reminiscent of Wande coal’s  “ You bad ”. The singer who has been basking in the euphoria of success is slated to perform at Davido’s concert on the 27th of December.

We recognize his enormous talent therefore , I’m expecting him to rise to the very top in no time.

We are getting used to Fefe dropping heavy singles , she really never disappoints .  Her new tune “ Copy that ” has hit the United States of America hard, and i am sure it will hit other destinations far and wide pretty soon . I like the direction of this jam, it is a club beat laced with street lingual  . This definitely makes it to the playlist on Christmas day . Shout out to Legacy music and Bimbo Pedro , the hard work is finally paying off.

Keiston is an R&B artiste from Indianapolis . His songs somewhat reminds me of Jagged Edge. I encourage you to look him up.

I spoke to Keiston several times and he revealed how he almost lost his mind but music kept him sane.  His album “ Elevated ” dropped in November and i have read very good reviews on the album.

Cloud 9 is Track 6 on the album , it is one of the stand out tracks for me . It’s content is explicit but the type of song you want your sex mate to vibe to. Songs like Cruising and Drip are on repeat on my playlist.

I Can’t wait to have Chief Obi perform this song in Indiana Usa . Just in case you are wondering who he is ,Chief Obi is a USA based Nigerian comedian who gained most of his popularity on Instagram . He later ventured into music featuring the likes of Olamide on his previous singles . His last single ” Kweku ” got massive radio play and street acclaim.

Chief Obi decides to round up a successful 2018 with Ova. A solid follow-up to Kweku. OVA is an up-tempo record produced by Nemesis. The song is intended to lighten up the mood of Afro-beats listeners across the world during the forthcoming festive season. Listen, enjoy and share!

In anticipation of the release of his sophomore project: Totally Xperimental II , Nigerian Born rapper / Producer Kene ( Formerly known as KAY X ) re-introduces us to his fresh Hip-hop / Afro-fusion sound in the new song titled ” Dripp ” .

Kene is one of those people i have known for a while . We crossed path at the University of Port Harcourt  where he was mostly producing for the likes of Timi kay and co. I have always admired his work ethics especially when it comes to dealing with music. Although , there was a moment when he left the scene due to some issues with school , i would say he has been relatively consistent. Kene has paid his dues in the game and i am happy all of  his issues are behind him; now he can now focused on his music.
