2020 has been a really difficult year for creatives. Therefore, we should throw our support behind artists like vibetone who are putting out good music at this time.

New Jersey based Afro-beat brand vibetone is out with a new song titled “Oskambo”. Vibetone is riding on the wave created by his previous singles as he follows up with a very catchy vibe. Oskambo is a blend of Afro-beat and high-life elements fused together by DXL his usual collaborator.

When I do get a hold of him, I definitely want to know the meaning of Oskambo but you can make up your own meaning by listening attentively to the song.

We promised in 2019 that we will unveil some dope Afrobeat artists who are plying their trade in the United States of America. In continuation of that promise, we present Vibetone, an extraordinarily gifted Afrobeat Artist making it big in New Jersey USA.

Adeniji Samuel Adedolapo, known by his stage name Vibetone, is a US-based Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began his professional music career in 2013. His first contact with music was as an artiste manager back in 2012/2013 in the University of Ilorin, where he was managing an artiste named “Fayed” and working on a couple of his projects. This offered him the experience of working with Artistes such as Oladips, Demmie Vee, and Enigma tunes to mention a few.  Vibetone’s music comes from his roots and origin, which is Yoruba. He also includes a bit of English and Igbo to complete the fusion.

Vibetone admits that growing up in the OJudu area of Lagos remains one of his greatest sources of motivation and Inspiration. Living in the Ogba-Ojodu area of Lagos with my family made an indelible mark on me, says Vibetone. Vibetone is definitely one of the acts resident in the USA that we will be following closely throughout the course of the year.
