It’s the 2nd of December and 2019 is winding down but one thing I can say categorically say is that 2019 has been the best year for Afro-beat ever and African music is on an upward spiral. Asides from Burna Boy, Naira Marley, and Zlatan Ibile who arguably dominated the scene, something really different happened in 2019.

In 2019, Nigerian A-List artists genuinely throw their weight behind promising talents and the result was amazing like never seen before. There has never been a time like this where three relatively new artists Introduced by different A-List artists had so much impact on the Industry. They had much more Impact than almost every A-list artist.  Today, we would like to find out who among Joeboy, Fireboy, and Rema made your 2019 playlist worth it the most.

Body of work

Rema – Freestyle EP (2019)
Joeboy – Love and Light (2019)
Fireboy DML – Laughter, Tears  & Goosebumps (2019)

All three artists released an impressive body of work in 2019 and also enjoyed a high level of success throughout the year.

Many award organizers and pundits alike have their opinion on who they think made the most impact on the Industy but We want to hear the streets to decide here which of these artists impacted your playlist more.
