Indianapolis based star artist Mr. icey finally blesses us with the long-awaited E.P titled Bad Boy from Senegal. The hard-working artist from Senegal has been putting in a lot of work into his artistry and it has finally paid off in the form of this the 9 track E.P. The E.P  is comprised of a fresh mix of previously released tracks and some brand new releases.

Mr. Icey refers to his E.P as very personal as he aims to connect to his Fans in America and West Africa. The EP features some of Africa’s biggest artists in Mayorkun and B. red.

It’s goodbye 2019 and welcome 2020.

I want to welcome you to the first post of 2020. This is officially the first song on the website for 2020 and What a time to release a song! Amid all the celebrations, champagne popping, and dining I cannot believe that people are still working relentlessly to put out products. Mr. Icey starts off the year with this new song titled “On the low”. The last time Mr. Icey released a song was early in the summer when he served us the video to his smash single Shut down.

On the low is a heavy afrobeat tune laced by Teekay Witty one of Davido’s producers credited for producing the track wonder woman for Davido and several other Davido, HKN, and DMW songs.

Mr. Icey releases his much anticipated single Shut down. The U.S based Senegalese artist also shot the video to the single at Club Kalakutah in Indianapolis and we have some exclusive photos from the shoot.

The anticipated video which was shot by Threshold Productions and directed by Mazi Ifeanyi is expected to drop in a few weeks. Mr. icey has already scored hits like Erimma and African girl featuring B. Red HKN.

Mr. Icey is an Independent USA based Senegalese artiste who is rapidly on the rise. Last weekend I watched him on Stage at a club appearance in Indianapolis and i was curious to find out about him because his stage performance was beautifully crafted.

After a bit of digging, it appears that he is a really hard working and consistent artiste. His previous single; African girl featuring one of Nigeria’s biggest exports B-Red received good reviews and feedback. As an African in the diaspora, he aims to connect his music to lovers of African music in all parts of the world. His latest Single is titled “Erimma” which is an Igbo name that represents beautiful women who are admired by all. The video is befitting of the song.
