I would like to present to you one of Africa’s best female lyricists. I heard her verse on Khaligraph Jones Khali Cartel 2 Cypher, and there are only a few that can match her lyrical ability. After listening to Khali Cartel 2, I decided to follow up on her.

Xtatic whose real name is Gloria Edna Nyabange is a Super talented Kenyan Hip-Hop musician and songwriter. The former Sony Music Africa artist has been around for a while dropping songs with the likes of the South African Hip-hop top dog A.K.A under Sony music Africa but left the music scene to concentrate on life in general. She made a comeback just recently on Khaligraph Jone’s Khali Cartel and followed it up with her Tatu E.P which is made of 3 amazing songs featuring KDaGr8.

The songs on Tatu were actually just more personal to talk about my growth and all ever since Sony Music. I’m actually currently trying to put a team together. I had to let go of my last team because they really had a small, rather local, vision, given the type of music I’m yet to release. So I’m really trying to build at the moment. Get investment and all that, Xtatic said to me.

The E.P was released in August 2019

I often wonder why African female emcees struggle at Longevity. The likes of Sasha, Eva, Muna were once the darlings of African Hip-hop only to disappear from the radar a few years later. Could it be that the system is just not supportive enough of Female acts? We at mazifeanyidotcom believes she is one of the best things to happen to Hip-hop music and has the chance to be the best that ever did it in Africa if she can focus on putting out more materials. The skill and talent is unquestionable.

While Nigerian and south African rappers are arguing over what country possesses the illest rappers , Kenyan rappers are putting in work and taking over . This video is a warning to the rest of Africa, Kenya is here ! . As a result of Stogie T’s impressive freestyle on Sway in the morning , A.K.A called South Africa the Mecca of Rap. Those comments did not sit well in the stomach of Nigerian emcees and it resulted in some heated conversations on twitter. After you view this video, you would agree with me that Nigerian and South Africa should stop worrying about themselves but be more worried of the East African country taking over

“ Kenya is where to go if you wanna create the wave / We give these foreign artiste the platform and Major pay / Pacto pressure must be turning in his grave / cos Burna-boy insulted us but we still let him get up on that stage ”  – Shots fired at Nigeria.
