From its inception, worship has been an integral part of Nigeria’s Christian culture. The saying, “If you cannot get to God’s heart through prayers, you should try through worship,” is absolutely valid. As a people, we cannot do without worshipping God. One person who has stood out among a vast majority of gospel artists, and who remains at the forefront of creating well-composed and refreshing songs for worship, is Eno Michael.

Eno Michael is a voice from God’s temple, called to minister healing, hope, and love to the world through her music. With two albums titled “Your Love” and “Forever,” she is an anointed gospel songwriter and singer with the rare ability to lift moods and spirits through praise, while connecting her listeners to the divine. Her gifts and talents have taken her to global platforms like “The Experience” and “The Akwa Ibom State Carol.” Her passion also extends into fashion, lifestyle, and community outreach to the sick and the downtrodden in society.

The gospel artist, resident in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, is emerging as a new face of gospel music from the country. Listen to and download her recent single, “Set Time,” below.

Cassidysax is a Nigerian instrumentalist. He was born UKEME IDORENYIN ESSIET and is the third son in a family of four (3 boys and one girl). Born into the family of pastor Idorenyin Essiet, Cassidysax ventured into music at the tender age of four. His father was a choirmaster who played the drums at Mount Zion Church, and his mom was a singer too, so he learned a lot about singing and playing musical instruments from his parents.

Inspired by his parents, Essiet began to playing the bass guitar, then a few years later he picked up the saxophone, and according to him, since then there’s been no better yesterday, all to the glory of God. Essiet is also a student of the faculty of physical science at the University of Calabar,  where he is currently studying Geology.

Essiet is the official saxophonist for the Goldcity gospel church, Jazz Bazzer crew, and the grace-filled family while also working as the CEO and director of SAXXY_VIBES entertainment. He has had the privilege of sharing the stage with International music ministers such as Steve Crown, Buchi, Preye Odede, Mercy Chinwo, Jerry Omole, Hezekiah Oduola, and many other great men of God.

Zion_worship_medley is a compilation of carefully selected heavenly songs that carries the power to soothe the soul and draw people back to God as well as also bringing God’s presence into the hearts of men.

Umasom Chims also known as “U-chims” is a Nigerian Gospel singer, songwriter, and producer. He hails from Rivers State, the Southern part of Nigeria, and is based in Lagos State. He started singing from the age of 12 when he joined the children’s choir and played the piano and the drums. Later he led an Acapella group called The Young Dynamic Brothers. Over the years, U-chims has directed different choirs, and solo artist being a music producer. He has written lots of gospel and inspirational songs and performed in churches concerts and ministered to both local and international audiences.

The EP “FAITH IN ME is a body of work that tells the real story of his experience as an average youth growing up with little or no supports and surviving by the grace and mercies of God. It is an inspiration for people who are thinking of giving up and quitting their dreams to stay strong trusting in God and knowing that theirs a bleak of light at the other end of the tunnel.

The EP FAITH IN ME is a compilation of 6 tracks inspired by the HOLY SPIRIT to bless lives across the globe.

Birthdays are a very special occasion and people generally want to do things that are out of this world on their special day. 1Mic music artist Oma Inok has made her birthday a more memorable occasion by setting the release of her first single to coincide with her special day.

Oma Inok is a beautiful and talented gospel artist from cross rivers state who started singing at a very tender age. She has grown and fully developed her voice into one of the best voices out of South-South Nigeria. Oma is coming with a bang, considering the fact that this is only her first single. I will not hesitate to say that she will be a force to reckon with in the gospel music scene and the music industry in general. She is currently aligned with 1Mic music group, a company that is focused on becoming the voice in spreading the word of God through music and creating a platform for promoting original gospel contents.

We would like to use this opportunity to wish Oma Inok a happy birthday, a great music career and a prosperous 2020 even in the face of all the difficulties we have gone through this year. Watch out for her!
