Byron Horton, A.K.A Skypp (pronounced Skip), is a dope lyricist born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana some 20 plus years ago. The lessons of life combined with its struggles has most certainly had an impact on his flow as an emcee with impressive lyrical skills.

An avid fan of R&B music, it is somewhat odd that he ended up being a rapper, but I guess one can say it was a sign of the times as hip-hop music and its culture was the defining element of his generation in Indianapolis and other Urban areas .

Ghana and Nigeria share many things in common. The commonality between the two nations has caused a lot of comparisons and rivalry. The rivalry is mostly healthy , but if you want to get Nigerians and Ghanaians going , simply mention Jollof rice or High life and you will start a social media war.

Ghana Jollof vs Nigerian Jollof ? or Who originated High life Nigerian or Ghanaian ? . These questions will always generate a heated argument between citizens of both countries. One thing is obvious though , Both countries push themselves to greater heights. Nigerian acts are inspired a lot by their Ghanaian counterparts and vice versa. I am in love with Ghanaian musicians and dancers .

AK Songstress is making her appearance on the blog for the first time . She is a young talented dance hall artiste from the Ashanti region of Ghana. Her song “Operation feed yourself ” addresses a sensitive issue of erectile dysfunction in men but she does so in a very ingenious way. I love the song so much it’s on repeat, and the video is even better .

Tyler Dumont is an outstanding singer from New York . She started singing when she was three years old, and at age seven she knew she wanted to be a professional singer. Nothing else really mattered – singing along with music played a monumental part of her upbringing .

I watched her documentary  “Who is Tyler Dumont” and i must say i am really impressed by her thought process, her work ethics , and her outlook on life. I encourage every independent artist to look her up . There may be a thing or two to learn from her journey.

Don’t mean it is a very emotional single and it reflects the struggles two young people in love go through in a relationship. Tyler if you are reading this, your music is going places and your work is paying off. Keep at it, the pinnacle is ready to receive you.

I stumbled on this Bils featuring Giggz track and i cannot understand why this track is not bigger than it currently is . For some reason  , songs that seem to have what it takes to go far are hardly making it to where they deserve to be and their life span is surprisingly shorter than expected. The fact is, i cannot get enough of this heavy tune, it makes me want to get up on my feet and dance every single time i hit the play button . More interestingly the choreography for the video was put together by Sayrahchips ; one of Nigeria’s most celebrated dancers on Instagram . As we await Bils new releases scheduled to drop anytime soon , let me light up your weekend with this crazy lamba .

Earlier in the month i introduced you all to this super nice artist by the name “ Sugar Joiko ” .  Her voice is beautiful and her style is Unique . I also promised to feature more of her music on the blog .

Based on popular demand , i present to you Sugar Joiko’s song titled Your love . Someone ( names withheld ) had referred me to the song and when i did listen i decided i must post it for y’all to enjoy also. It is a very chill song and the lyrics seems to tell the tale of a woman who has lost the love of a man she truly cares for . Jodeci Milhouse is an American songwriter and recording artist. However, long before she stepped on stage with a microphone she entertained thousands through dance.

While Jodeci is a natural performer, her true desire was to combine her love for dance and music to become an entertainer. She first began singing at age 10 but did not start recording until age 14. Jodeci’s first EP entitled “My Own” was released January 2014.
