It celebrates black women past , present and future and regards women with melanin as queens . Days are gone when you should be ashamed of your blackness or you complexion . Being black is a privilege , it is spiritual , it is strength and black women should wear their melanin with pride. The song is further evidence to the fact that when black women come together to create , it is always a beauty to behold .

The Queen (remix) is a hip-hop cypher spin off of the “Original” Queen song released in August 2018 by Keke Songbird feat. Mariah Ivey. The Queen (remix) features some of Indianapolis, IN best Femce’s — Syd Blane, Allison Victoria and Manon Voice. The song is directed by Eli productions and dedicated to black women around the world.

Teeklef is quickly becoming a stand out brand in Indianapolis. After going through a tumultuous year ridden with some personal battles , i am happy to see Teeklef winning and finally back to doing what he knows best . A few weeks ago he sold out his Made in Nigeria concert and today he is putting out the video to his previously released single ” Day one ” .

According to Teeklef , Day one is about family , loyalty and your willingness to give and be there for the people you love. What i like most about the video is that it elevates the city of Indianapolis. The beautiful graffiti on the street corners, the sight of happy people and the fact that it buttresses the everyday life of the average person from indiana . The song is produced by Svdagawd and the video is directed by Tahlia Loreal and shot by Bobbeedarko .

Some days ago i reviewed Blaqbonez Bad boy Blaq E.P and i stated how impressed i was with the entire project including featured acts like Oxlade , Alpha , Loose Kaynon , Aq e.t.c . I reached out to Oxlade and asked him to refer me to his contents ( which he did ) . Had a discussion with him briefly and encouraged him to keep at it and that he is very gifted.

A few days later i was at work and Davido’s tweet flashed through my timeline . I did not hesitate to screen shot it. The joy i felt that moment can not be explained. I barely even know Oxlade , but i was so happy that an artist i spotted just a few days ago has also been spotted by one of Africa’s biggest music brand. Davido later tweeted , saying that his favorite song at the moment is Fireboy DML ft. Oxlade – Sing . Watch the video below .

I hope this will open new doors for Fireboy DML, Oxlade , Blaqbonez , Alpha , and their entire team of creatives . Sing by Fireboy DML is a song i recommend you add to your playlist. It summaries the fact that both artist are set to blow.  They sound very similar and both did a fantastic job at delivering the song . Let us keep our fingers crossed and anticipate what Davido is about to unleash with these acts .

There is an endless list of artists who were based outside the country ( in diaspora ) ; that left foreign lands for Nigeria and in a few years did amazing things in the industry in Africa. The long list includes Fela , Eldee , Banky W , Tiwa Savage , Asa , Davido , Burna boy, Dice ailes , Sauce kid (Sinzu) , and so much more. Some took the journey back home and made it big , while others were not so lucky , but one thing is a fact , artists in diaspora give the home grown talents a run for their money .

Sampson , another super talented Afro beat artist may be the next on that list . His songs are lit and his management may have to consider promoting his content in Lagos Nigeria. He is definitely going places, his heavy Afro beat tune No hands, will be on my play list for long.

From the stable of Feel Good Music(fgM) , i present Wizzywee . Real name Wisdom Akataobi , Wizzywee originally started Under H-records with a group known at the time as Sugaboiz . They were an item in Port Harcourt Nigeria, but the group has seized to exist due to the fact that Wizzy relocated to Texas, USA . Recently i made an effort to find Wizzy online, and i was pleasantly surprised that he has been putting out music , the most recent of which is ” Feel Alright ”

The event is scheduled for the 25th of November at Bella Marcia and it features some of the best emerging acts in Naptown. Artists billed to perform are Koros , Teeklef, Bowyrude , Feyi , Timmy Rochie , Stella La Bella , Detox , Neno , Kolly bizzle and Ady Mob . There will also be a presentation titled ” Ada” by Vanessa . The show is sponsored by Hidashi co. and Serkes and hosted by one of Naptowns top most hosts AO. It promises to be a special night and i am very sure it will live up to the hype.

Sprove and NorrieTheGoat collaborate to bring you a new, fresh Indy sound!. Sprove is Albanian for “Flyer than”. Moral behind the meaning is being the best in anything that you do.  He is the founder and creator of Nap town revival; a friendly competition between  local hip hop artist in Indianapolis that aims to showcase the amount of talent present in the city .

On Food for thought, Sprove and NorrieTheGoat remind the female fans of  their credibility and brag about how much money they got. He is definitely one of the class acts in Indianapolis and i commend the work he is putting in.
