The purpose of IAFF is to give the African short-film director a channel to connect with the rest of the world. Many misconceptions about Africa exist mostly via foreign movies so it is time we tell the African story from an African’s perspective and let the world see Africa from the eyeball of an African and not just that of an outsider as the case has almost always been.  It is our goal to expose new African talents to the world.

These Short films center on religion, sex, Politics, marriage, relationships, crime, and business as it pertains to African societies, but most importantly they come from the perspective of Africans. Creatives in Africa also face a lot of challenges to make these short films. Challenges like lack of electricity, lack of equipment, lack of financial support and sponsorship, bad Government,  policies, lack of credit facilities and so much more, all contribute to cripple the growth of the movie industry in Nigeria. All the way from Indiana USA we present Tonight by Mr. Carter ft T-ME singsong. Two Nigerian acts who have been on the rise in the Afro-beat scene in the USA.

Tonight is a feel-good song that will put you in the mood to have a good time. A perfect blend of Rap provided by Mr. Carter and smooth R&B Vocals delivered by T-ME Singsong. While T-ME serenades the place with his modulated vocals, Mr. Carter comes through with some very immaculate flows to match the beat produced by Tyemmy. The beat is heavily influenced by the Hip-hop culture in the USA but also laced with some African percussions which are typical of most Nigerian songs.

Life is full of stress and sometimes you have to make a conscious decision to have a great time.

Czure is a Nigerian born and raised producer/songwriter who currently lives in Houston Texas — home to some of the most talented Nigerians in the USA. Growing up in a music-loving household exposed him to the sounds of everyone from Fela to Dr. Dre from an early age. This without a doubt influenced his keen ear for, not just music, but “sounds” in general.

The ability to pick out the right tones is the hallmark of every producer’s sound and Czure definitely does this well! With over ten years of “music-making” experience tucked under his belt, its no wonder he is able to curate music that anyone can relate to.

Recently stepping into the spotlight as an artist himself, Czure has dropped a few singles that are actually rather impressive. The ability to wear numerous hats while creating gives him an unfair advantage if you will.

Listen below to his newest Afro-beat offering titled Dumb, I am hundred percent certain that this will move up the charts quickly.

Duncan Daniels’ album dropped on all major platforms yesterday, February 14, and our first reaction after listening to the entire project was: wow. This is a landmark achievement, as we have yet to see an Afrobeats album made and released in the USA generate the kind of impact this one is already having. Just yesterday, the album was trending on Twitter—and for all the right reasons.

The Afro-eclectic project is a 100 percent Afrobeats album, which comes as a surprise given that Duncan Daniels, also known as Dunkish Rock, has long been heavily associated with rock music.

The album, which is comprised of 10 songs, one instrumental, a skit, an intro, and an outro, features major acts like Korkormikor, MacK Gee, Lyrikal, Lady Albatross, and Speseamen A, just to mention a few.

The quality of this album cannot be overstated. It is safe to say that the Afro-eclectic album will have a long run on the charts. The sound quality is top-notch, and the entire body of work—from the cover art to the song selection and featured artists—has been carefully and thoughtfully put together. The album has the potential to be one of the best Afrobeats projects of 2020.

It takes listeners on a journey through a range of emotions. High-energy Afrobeats tracks like “Gbedu,” “Oluwa Designs,” and “Enado” are sure to keep you dancing in high spirits, while songs like “Fix That” and “Six Past Six”mellow things down a bit, without losing their strong Afrobeats essence.

Afro-Eclectic is expected to make a significant impact on the music scene across Africa, Europe, and beyond. Listen to the lead single off the album, “Gbedu,” which features Mackgee, Lady Albatross, and Jamila.
