Grimass is an independent rapper, writer and actor from Miami, FL. Born Carlson Pierre, Grimass started rapping at the young age of twelve and has since fell in love with music. Over time music has become his number one obsession.

The name Grimass is the Creole word for “Grimace” which is defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary as “A facial expression usually of disgust, disapproval, or pain.” He received the nickname name from his mother because as a young child, he was always running around making funny faces and entertaining everyone around him. Being the third of four children and growing up in the poor neighborhood known as “Little Haiti”, he did not always experience the best that life has to offer. However, he always believed that through his music and talent, he would make a better tomorrow for his family.

I was reached out via Instagram by a very cool battle rapper by the name Dead Silence. I requested for his content and right from the moment i hit the play button i began saying to myself ” this is exactly how hip hop should sound ” .

Dead Silence starting exploring his talent at the age of 9 and began writing at 15. He knew that he had some potential behind the mic after completing his first performance by being the opener for Zapp & roger by the age 15. Currently he’s a dominant battle rapper, film scorer, and still remains as an unique lyricist.

The sacrifice is a song that narrates what goes on in the mind of a young hustler in Naptown.

He started the year on a high with “Doe” featuring Davido ,  and he’s ending the year in the same vein. Larry Gaaga is someone i will always support , he is a Lagos OG and the life of many Lagos parties . Interestingly, we grew up in the same neighborhood and i am excited that he is doing some amazing work in the industry. He is a mix of Don jazzy and Dj Khaled , at least that is the vibe i get when i watch his visuals .  Remember Gaaga shuffle by Tubaba ? That is to tell you how influential he is becoming in the entertainment circle.

Lauretta is a highly spiritual fast rising female rapper from Nigeria. She started dropping weekly freestyle covers in 2017 called Thirst Trap Thursdays. Ever since then, she has been consistent enough and has three YouTube videos to her credit.

She also goes by the alias, ‘Yemoja’ . I had to research the meaning and i was very fascinated at the results. According to Wikipedia, Yemoja is a Yoruba goddess , she is the major water deity from the Yoruba religion. She is an orisha and the mother of all orishas, having given birth to the 14 Yoruba gods and goddesses.

I love the fact that she is in touch with her African side and is very proud of her African ancestry and religion. Something that most of us have abandoned in preference of a foreign ancestry . She is spiritual , sensual and infact a Yeye. Yemoja translates into yeye meaning “mother”; ọmọ, meaning “child”; and ẹja, meaning “fish”; roughly translated the term means “Mother whose children are like fish.

Studio H Production USA presents the long-awaited visuals to Koros hit single ” Lemme Take You “. At last, we get to see the video that has rocked most clubs in the city including Lava in Broadripple, Kalakutah – an African spot on the west side of Indianapolis, and most of the clubs downtown of Indianapolis.

Koros is a super talented artist from the West African country the Benin Republic. He traveled to the USA specifically to further his music and I am not surprised that he has kicked off in superb fashion.
