Eseurhobo Miracle Ejiro (Born 1st June 1999) is a young Nigerian Rapper and Songwriter popularly known as RZLA. He began his music career as a Songwriter and later began recording music at the age of 16 alongside friends in a group they called “illegal gang music”.
RZLA’s music pushes boundaries and mesmerizes in a bold quest for both experimentation and intimacy, it is a fusion of African hip-hop and Afro-beats and it is quite easy to tell that he is influenced by the likes of the Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti, Lil Wayne, and Nigerian rapper Ycee. His last single “Money” enjoyed a measure of success, but he isn’t resting on that and he is here with a new hit single titled “Slow and Steady” featuring singer Pizo and produced by xtofabeatz.
“People rarely know what to expect from me most times, I’m always trying to get them interested in what they don’t know they might like” __RZLA
We are officially in the season of parties, parties and more parties! The season where DJ’s become the world’s richest. DJ’s are about to make a fortune especially if you consider the number of end of year parties we are going to have this season. I may just consider being a party DJ for 2 months.
2019 has been an extraordinary year for Nigerian music, and the growth is expected to carry on till 2020. The music Industry might just be one of the few positives, and the only sector we experienced growth as a country.
DJ drey is taking advantage of the season as he releases a party mix he intends people will use for their parties during the Christmas Season. DJ Drey is One of Indiana USA’s top DJs.
Coming straight out one of the most livest hoods in Lagos Nigeria is a rapper known as “Chase’N”. Chase’N has been in the rap scene for quite a while but due to the fact that Afro-beat has become Nigeria’s leading Sound, rappers often find themselves in the dark searching for some attention. In the past, Rap and Ragga were in the fore and were described as Nigeria’s main sound but things took a drastic turn in the last few years. But trust me, Nigeria has never fallen short of dope rappers and lyricists.
Okota Lagos is home to some of the finest rappers in Nigeria.
The city which is located on Lagos Mainland in the district of Oshodi Local Government is known for it’s high crime rate, a massive population, and low-income neighborhoods could be described as an abode for middle-class Nigerians quite far from the plush and fancy lifestyle on Lagos Island.
CHASE’N whose real names are (Agbi Nelson) originally from Edo State was born and raised in Okota. He decides to drop some impressive bars on the famous Casanova (so Brooklyn) instrumental to describe the challenges of living in Okota Lagos. Chasen, originally from Edo state, though born and raised in the streets of Lagos, is looking to put out a mix-tape which may include adding verses to famous Afro-beat hits like Kizz Daniels Fvck you and Tekno’s Better Instrumentals which were used for online beat challenges this year.
I love it when rappers paint pictures of their real life and experiences__ Mazi Ifeanyi
Chase’N grabs a lot of attention on this one as he calls out some of the most notorious hoods in Nigeria.
Two African Queens from the East and West come together to say ‘spread the love’ with this Afro-reggaeton fusion!. Congratulations to Korra Obidi for the birth of her child, the dancing queen is back with a major single.
She collaborates with the queen of East African music Victoria Kimani. Vibration is a soothing Afro-reggaeton song with a strong message
Why you gotta hate when you can love?
Bad vibes, Bad vibes Keep away from Bad vibes. I don’t care about your advice.
It’s the 2nd of December and 2019 is winding down but one thing I can say categorically say is that 2019 has been the best year for Afro-beat ever and African music is on an upward spiral. Asides from Burna Boy, Naira Marley, and Zlatan Ibile who arguably dominated the scene, something really different happened in 2019.
In 2019, Nigerian A-List artists genuinely throw their weight behind promising talents and the result was amazing like never seen before. There has never been a time like this where three relatively new artists Introduced by different A-List artists had so much impact on the Industry. They had much more Impact than almost every A-list artist. Today, we would like to find out who among Joeboy, Fireboy, and Rema made your 2019 playlist worth it the most.

Bowyrude is out with another good vibe. We are still enjoying his latest tune Ton Pied Mon Pied which was voted song of the week for several weeks in November on this platform. The Togolese artist says he is up to big things in 2020 and the Industry in Indianapolis should look out for him. The artist and his management also released a statement in french about the song and it reads
“On a tous longtemps espéré et enfin elle se montre, gracieuse et profonde ! Elle promet de nous accompagner durant la fin et le début de notre nouvelle histoire avec 2020 ! BELIEVE est là😎 Link up”

This represents the coming together of two heavyweights to produce something astronomical. This is huge! Two of Afrobeat’s finest, DJ Boat and Kobi Jonz have been buzzing as soon as they announced the release of their Naija-Ghana Tape Vol. 1. Kobi Jonz who has caught the eye with his very infectious vibe is on the brink of greatness. The USA based Afrobeat singer is one of the artists that will break out and blow up in a few months. He has put in a lot of work in his craft, and his time is around the corner.
DJ Boat, on the other hand, is a Ghanaian DJ resident in the USA. He describes himself as a global Afrobeat DJ. I have had the opportunity to listen to some of his mixes and they have been topnotch. His Hip-Hop Mix is currently streaming on the radio app on the site and is also available for download.
Call Melanin is a single off the two-track Tape and they did everything right on this one.
Hamzy West graduated from Afe Babalola University in Nigeria and within a few years found himself in the United States. He had always been a talented singer from his college days in Nigeria, so he decided to pursue his singing career in the USA. After speaking Hamzy West, I was left with the impression that this young artist from Nigeria is eager to take on the world.
Having performed at some of the biggest events in Indiana this year, Hamzywest releases the visuals to his single titled Remember the time directed by another Indiana based Videographer DannyShizzle. Remember the time is definitely a hit.
